GameSports.net: First of all congratulations to your 3rd rank on the NGL ONE Qualifier Counter-Strike. What do you think on the games? Are you satisfied with your team? What would have been better?
Shayan: Thanks! Well, the games have gone surprisingly well if you compare the results with our usual I-net results. I’ve never felt that we’ve really been able to perform at our top level, I mean, I’ve got the best team no doubt. There are just some things we need to adjust to be able to give that little extra i know everyone has.
You’ve been in a few famous teams like Serious Gaming and hoorai before. What do you think about your team roccat if you compare it with them? What about the team play, is there a lot of potential of each player?
Basically it’s been the same team ever since Wings, the core has been the same. The current teamplay is good but not good enough if you realize what potential each player has.
There are four good teams at these NGL Finals. Which one would be the biggest competitor? What do you have for conditions in regard to the finals? Do you think you’ve big chances to win this season?
If we play our A-game the chances to win gets pretty big, we also need a bit of luck.. Well, as usual it’s fnatic, I hate to face that team over and over again each god damn tournament.
In December, you played a match against the Swedish team fnatic, which you lost 16:09. This finals you’ll play a match again, did your team play change? Would you play the same tactics or what would be different that you’ll have better chances this game?
Different ground – different conditions.
Thank you for spending time on this interview. I hope you’ll have a good play these finals and will be successful.
